ARTIST'S STATEMENT
 
have an innate need to create. It's necessary and forms an important part of who I am. I want to create emotion between viewer and image within the depth of my glass. If you walk away feeling what my subject is trying to say, I feel I've accomplished my goal.

ARTIST'S BIOGRAPHY
 
Beverly Parker began her art career as a watercolorist, participating in and winning numerous awards at home and internationally. After studying with such great glass artists as Robert Leatherbarrow, Gil Reynolds, Brad Walker, Kathleen Sheard and Kari Minnick, she incorporates her watercolor knowledge and glass techniques to create glass panels with the use of crushed and powdered glass. She currently has a home studio in the beautiful Hill Country outside of Georgetown, Texas.
